Nurse-First Design
Every feature starts with a bedside RN.
Noria exists because nurses spend too much time on documentation and not enough time with patients. We're here to fix that.
Nurses are the backbone of inpatient care — and they're drowning in documentation. The average bedside RN spends 30-40% of their shift on EHR tasks: clicking through tabs, writing handoff notes from memory, tracking tasks on paper brain sheets. That's time taken directly from patient care.
We started Noria after watching this play out across dozens of med-surg units. The pattern was always the same: great nurses, terrible tools. Every "solution" they'd been given created more work, not less. Epic is powerful but overwhelming. Existing nursing apps bolt on top instead of integrating in.
So we built something different. Noria reads directly from the EHR, surfaces what matters, and generates clinical documentation that nurses actually want to use. No extra charting. No new logins. Just 30-60 minutes back every shift — time that goes directly to the bedside.
Every feature starts with a bedside RN.
Human-in-the-loop AI. Provenance on every statement. No chart writes without nurse approval.
Our measure of success: nurses love using Noria.
Built on SMART on FHIR R4. Standard integration patterns. No proprietary lock-in.
Noria is built with input from practicing bedside nurses, nurse managers, and clinical informaticists. Our advisory board includes RNs from med-surg, telemetry, and critical care units across multiple health systems.
