Clinical Product Designer

About Noria

Noria is an AI-powered nursing workflow platform that saves inpatient bedside RNs 30-60 minutes per 12-hour shift. We aggregate patient data, generate handoffs, and eliminate documentation busywork — so nurses can focus on patients instead of computers.

The Role

Design interfaces for high-stress, interrupt-driven clinical environments where seconds matter and errors have real consequences. You'll work directly with bedside nurses to understand their workflows, then translate those insights into interfaces that are fast, forgiving, and impossible to misuse.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end UX for clinical workflows — from shift-start patient review to end-of-shift handoff
  • Conduct user research with bedside nurses in active hospital environments
  • Build and maintain a design system and component library optimized for clinical use
  • Ensure all interfaces meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
  • Create interactive prototypes for usability testing with clinical staff
  • Design for interruption recovery — nurses get pulled away mid-task constantly

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of product design experience
  • Healthcare, aviation, or other safety-critical domain experience
  • Figma proficiency including component systems and prototyping
  • User research skills — you've run interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design patterns

Nice to Have

  • Nursing or clinical background
  • EHR interface experience (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
  • React Native awareness — understanding platform constraints helps your designs ship faster
  • Design system creation and governance experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity
  • Remote-first — work from anywhere in the US
  • Flexible schedule — output over hours
  • Mission that matters — measurable impact on nurse burnout
  • Collaborative, low-ego team
