Noria is an AI-powered nursing workflow platform that saves inpatient bedside RNs 30-60 minutes per 12-hour shift. We aggregate patient data, generate handoffs, and eliminate documentation busywork — so nurses can focus on patients instead of computers.

The Role

Build the clinical app that nurses use every shift — React Native frontend, NestJS backend, FHIR R4 integration with Epic. You'll own features end-to-end, from database schema to pixel-perfect UI, shipping code that directly saves nurses time and improves patient safety.

What You'll Do

• •Build and iterate on the Patient Cockpit — the shift-start view nurses rely on for vitals, labs, meds, tasks, and AI-powered watch-outs
• •Design and implement FHIR R4 client services that reliably pull clinical data from Epic and other EHR systems
• •Build GraphQL and REST APIs with NestJS, ensuring sub-2-second response times for clinical workflows
• •Implement real-time task management with WebSocket updates and optimistic UI patterns
• •Architect offline-first data persistence so the app works reliably on hospital Wi-Fi
• •Own the CI/CD pipeline — GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS Fargate deployments
• •Optimize React Native performance for older devices commonly found in clinical settings

What We're Looking For

• •5+ years of full-stack development experience
• •Strong React Native or React experience with production mobile apps
• •Node.js and TypeScript proficiency (we use strict mode everywhere)
• •PostgreSQL experience including schema design and query optimization
• •REST and/or GraphQL API design experience
• •Testing discipline — we target 80%+ coverage with Jest and React Testing Library

Nice to Have

• •Healthcare or FHIR experience
• •Epic integration or App Orchard certification
• •NestJS framework experience
• •Redux Toolkit / RTK Query
• •AWS ECS, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code experience
